With fast growing market share in the six-figure range, the department recently set a new record for a sculpture from Frank Stella's Polish Villages series at 1.1 Mio USD, and sold one of the largest works on paper ever offered at auction by Jean-Michel Basquiat for $360,000. Artnet has also long held the all-time record for a painting by Dondi White that sold for $240,000 in 2018.
Strong results have also recently been achieved for works by Post-War masters including Tom Wesselmann, Sol LeWitt and Sam Francis.
